The Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI) recently held its 2022 National Conference in Salt Lake City. Focusing on improving earthquake resilience in communities globally, EERI gathers engineers, researchers, and emergency management professionals from all over the world to share earthquake engineering design practices. Given the Wasatch Front’s increased hazard potential from a high seismic event, staying current with EERI’s latest training models and innovations is pivotal for engineering building safety at Calder Richards.
