This new 205,000-sf middle school for Canyons School District features the latest trend in school design for a large, open Commons area located at the buildings center core. Long-span steel trusses supported this open concept. Clerestories in the large Commons area provided natural lighting as well. A new type of Atlas CMU masonry that replicates the appearance of brick was also used.
